Located between Route 50 and Route 9 (South Broadway) this National Historic Landmark in town is known for its cultural and recreational diversity. The park is home to Saratoga Springs Performing Arts Center (SPAC), Spa Little Theater, National Museum of Dance, Gideon Putnam Hotel and the Lincoln Mineral Baths. With close to 15 miles of roads and wooded trails throughout the park, picnic areas and pavilions for large groups, there is enough open space to explore through out the year. While you are exploring this diverse park, notice all the natural springs and geysers through out the area. These are a result of the fault in the earths crust below the city. On a hot day take a walk over to one of the two pool complexes for a swim. During the winter the park is a popular destination for cross-country skiing. With the recent addition of 345 acres along the Kayderosseras Creek on the southern boundary line, the park’s total area now covers over 1,000 acres.
