Some of the challenging rapids include Round House and Joyce’s Log Cabin. There are several bridges and tunnels that you will paddle under when in Mechanicville. The Tenandaho Downriver Race takes place every spring. The Tenandaho Canoe Committee coordinates the race with sponsorship from local businesses. You can reach the Committee at (518)-584-2061.
